Comark BecomesTricord Systems Channel Partner.

Tricord Systems, Inc. today announced that Comark, Inc. has joined the Tricord Advantage Partner Program as an authorized channel partner. As a result, Comark is licensed to resell Tricord’s Lunar Flare(TM) NAS server appliance, and future clustered appliance solutions based on Tricord’s unique Illumina(TM) software.


According to the companies, Tricord products will be sold through the organization’s SMB (small-to-medium business) and Corporate Sales divisions. “Comark is ideally positioned to deliver Tricord appliance solutions to an established client base, from small and medium businesses to large corporate accounts,” says Dennis Cindrich, vice president of sales for Tricord. “This relationship broadens our reach in these segments, and Comark’s expertise and support will bring additional value to our customers.”


Tim McGrath, executive vice president of sales and marketing, Comark, said, “Our ‘Center of Excellence’ program includes a cross-functional team assigned to look for best-of-breed solutions that drive storage across business units. Tricord’s Lunar Flare NAS is exactly the type of differentiated product we are seeking – it’s an expandable network drive that helps companies manage their storage needs as they grow.”
