CommVault Systems Expands UNIX, Linux and Database Support

CommVault Systems, a provider of enterprise data management solutions has expanded support for enterprise UNIX, Linux and leading databases with the latest release of CommVault Galaxy, version 3.7.1.


According to the company, this latest release extends CommVault’s data protection for IBM AIX and Linux, and leading databases, like Oracle and Informix, to meet enterprise storage architecture requirements.


Overall, CommVault said the product offers data protection for distributed, heterogeneous environments, including UNIX, Linux, Windows, Netware, Oracle, SQL Server, Informix, Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint Portal Server, Lotus Notes, network attached storage (NAS) devices and storage area network (SAN) architectures.
