CommVault Protects EMC CLARiiON

CommVault Systems Inc. announced the availability of the CommVault(R) Galaxy(tm) data and storage management software solution for EMC(R) CLARiiON(R) Network Attached Storage (NAS) systems.


According to CommVault, the qualification of its Galaxy software with EMC CLARiiON(R) IP4700 networked storage systems offers customers a pre-tested, easy-to-use, data protection solution that scales to handle multiple terabytes of capacity, delivering lower administration cost, significantly better access to application data and drastically improved backup and recovery flexibility. Based on the industry-standard Network Data Management Protocol (NDMP), CommVault Galaxy offers customers a single solution for managing Microsoft(R) Windows(R) and UNIX(R) backup and recovery from an intuitive browser-based interface.
