CommVault Systems, a provider of enterprise data management solutions, announced its CommVault Galaxy will support the EMC Fastrax(TM) data movement platform with Microsoft(R) Exchange 5.5 and 2000.
The company said that the combination of CommVault Galaxy software and EMC Fastrax would enable fast, reliable data protection that minimizes backup impact for customers deploying EMC Fastrax with EMC Symmetrix(R) in Windows 2000 and NT environments.

Available CommVault solutions include Galaxy support for EMC TimeFinder software and qualification with CLARiiON(R) IP4700 network attached storage systems. CommVault Galaxy for Fastrax is available immediately. Pricing starts at $5,000 per Exchange server.
