Ideal and StoreAge Networking Partner

Ideal Hardware today announced a partnership with StoreAge Networking Technologies
to provide storage networking solutions in the United Kingdom and boost its Storage Area Network (SAN) offerings.

StoreAge Networking Technologies manufactures a product called Storage Virtualisation Manager (SVM), which is a SAN Appliance that enables overall virtual volume management in a heterogeneous servers and storage systems SAN. The SVM allows virtual storage allocations, reallocation, volume definition and storage pooling for all servers and storage connected to the SAN. It provides a common GUI through which storage is virtualised and selectively presented to users in a flexible way with a very high degree of granularity.
