Imation Corp. has formed an alliance between its Storage Professional Services (SPS) group and Avnet Computer Marketing.
The companies said the alliance will allow Avnet Computer Marketing to bolster its portfolio of enterprise storage offerings for its value added resellers (VARs) and channel partners by tapping Imation to supply storage networking consulting and testing services.
In addition, Imation SPS said it plans to offer a full lifecycle of storage consulting and testing services to Avnet, including storage assessment, design, implementation and custom training services. Additionally, proof-of-concept and validation testing services are slated to be available.
