Ingrian Networks, a network security vendor, and network attached storage (NAS) vendor Network Appliance announced a strategic business and technology relationship to provide SSL/TLS acceleration solutions. The companies plan to integrate Network Appliance’s content delivery solutions with that of Ingrian Networks’ secure networking products


“Ingrian Networks’ products are a powerful complement to the Network Appliance solutions, offering our customers the highest levels of data security and content delivery performance, without a significant outlay of resources,” said Amit Pandey, Senior Director of Marketing for the content delivery business unit, Network Appliance. “The need to accelerate the delivery of highly sensitive content is growing. With Ingrian Networks, we have a partner that has developed outstanding secure networking products built from the ground up with security in mind.”


Ingrian Networks said its products are designed to secure data on web servers and databases using key management and security technologies based on widely adopted encryption standards. The company’s secure networking products integrate FIPS 140-1, Level 2 validated key management, backend data encryption, access management, intrusion protection, secure content caching, content switching and SSL/TLS acceleration.
