INRANGE Extends SAN Offerings

Jul 17, 2001

INRANGE Technologies today announced that effective immediately it will provide Host Bus Adapters (HBAs) from major manufacturers directly to its enterprise customers in its end-to-end SAN offerings.

INRANGE will supply HBAs manufactured primarily by QLogic in addition to select HBAs from Emulex and JNI. Technical support and on-site service will be provided through INRANGE’s direct Sales and Service Organization, which includes a Global Solutions division that can assist customers with all phases of pre- and post-SAN installation.

“INRANGE is a strategic partner for QLogic as we work together to provide the marketplace with highly scalable end-to-end solutions,” stated Mark Edwards, senior vice president, QLogic Corporation. “INRANGE can now offer customers a complete solution set by providing QLogic’s SANblade Fibre Channel HBAs, along with the IN-VSN family of storage networking solutions, through its worldwide sales and service organization. This step is both a logical and beneficial evolution of their SAN deployment strategy.”
