IntelliServices, Inc., a developer of Web-based solutions for the healthcare industry, today announced that EMC Corporation has recognized IntelliServices as an EMC Proven(TM) E-Infostructure(TM) certified company.

“Achieving EMC Proven status by meeting EMC’s stringent guidelines provides our healthcare customers with the confidence that their valuable data is easily accessible within a secure environment,” said Dr. T. Hemanth Rao, CEO of IntelliServices.

According to the companies, the EMC Proven E-Infostructure program identifies businesses that have invested in best practices for enterprise storage and information infrastructure, and signifies that a company has implemented an IT infrastructure able to support the operational needs of an Internet-based business or service.

“As communication between patients and physicians begins to rely heavily on technology and practice management systems, information storage becomes the most integral part of enhancing and securing that professional relationship,” said Mike Parise, Vice President of Integrated Marketing at EMC. “Understanding the critical need to protect and access patient information, IntelliServices is committed to the importance of information and the services required to build a scalable and robust infrastructure, or E-Infostructure.”
