OptiGlobe(TM), a Latin American provider of mission-critical enterprise and Internet Data Center (IDC) services, announced that EMC Corp. has recognized OptiGlobe as EMC Proven(TM) E-Infostructure(TM) certified.
OptiGlobe said it is the first IDC services company in Latin America to pass EMC’s most rigorous review, designed to ensure that a company has the infrastructure and resources to store, access, manage, share and protect its customers’ information with maximum efficiency.
The EMC Proven program identifies businesses that have invested in best practices for enterprise storage and information systems, and signifies that a company has implemented an IT infrastructure able to support the operational needs of brick and mortar companies and Internet-based businesses or services.
“OptiGlobe’s customers are demanding world-class storage products and services for disaster recovery, redundancy and offsite storage,” said Scott Puritz, chairman and chief executive officer at OptiGlobe. “The certification assures our customers that OptiGlobe can deliver even the most secure and complex storage solutions, further cementing OptiGlobe’s role as a dominant player in the Latin American market.”
“With an EMC Proven E-Infostructure, OptiGlobe can offer its customers the highest levels of information availability,” said Mike Parise, Vice President of Integrated Marketing at EMC. “The EMC Proven program is a standard upon which investors and clients can measure commitment to future success and the promise of customer satisfaction.”
