MTI Technology Corp. today announced that the company is now offering Brocade SilkWorm(R) Fibre Channel fabric switches to provide the storage networking infrastructure for the MTI Vivant enterprise storage server product line.
According to MTI, by incorporating Brocade fabric switches into the MTI Vivant product line, MTI has expanded the connectivity options available for use with MTI’s integrated Storage Area Network (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS) technologies.

We now offer an exceptional range of connectivity options for customers who want to reduce complexity and costs by consolidating storage, simplifying management and maximizing data availability.”
MTI is currently accepting orders for MTI Vivant products that include Brocade switches. MTI Vivant integrated SAN and NAS solutions are compatible with many open systems platforms, including UNIX and Microsoft Windows NT/2000.
