OTG Updates Linux Storage Management Software

OTG Software, Inc. , a provider of online data storage, data access and email management solutions, this week announced the availability of DiskXtender for Unix and Linux (DXUL), version 2.4.

“The latest enhancements to our storage management software for Unix and Linux operating systems further demonstrate our vision to provide customers with immediate access to information, independent of location, platform or storage media device,” said Michael Del Rosso, chief technology officer of OTG Software. “DXUL provides virtually limitless scalability for data intensive environments within a variety of vertical markets including telecommunications, entertainment, healthcare, financial services/banking and energy.”


According to the company, some of the key benefits of the updated software include: enhanced intelligence and automation; improved performance; improved disaster recovery; and enhanced OS and device support. DiskXtender File System Edition for Unix and Linux is priced starting at $20/managed GB.
