QLogic Corp. this week introduced the SANtrack(TM) Service and Support Program for QLogic SANbox(TM) switches and SANblade(TM) host bus adapters (HBAs) to meet a wide range of customers’ storage networking needs.
Designed to provide customers with the flexibility to create their own unique service and support package, the SANtrack Service and Support Program provides a diverse range of services including: “Select” and “Prime” service plans, pre-install analysis, installation, SANtrack technical training, onsite service and spares upgrades.

The Prime plan is designed for companies that demand business continuity with always-available support. The plan includes 24×7 help desk availability, four-hour onsite service commitment and hardware replacement from strategically placed service inventory locations.
QLogic offers the Select plan for businesses who require next-business-day support. The plan includes hardware, software and firmware coverage, help desk accessibility and onsite service with next business day hardware replacement from strategically placed service inventory locations.
The SANtrack program also includes courses and certification for QLogic SANbox switches and SANblade HBAs. QLogic has trained thousands of technical professionals worldwide. Now including additional training on SANblade HBAs, these courses are consistently rated as some of the best technical training on Fibre Channel SANs available. Coursework includes an overview of hardware and software components of QLogic’s SAN products, features and benefits. Engineers, storage professionals, consultants and technical professionals are educated on installation and configuration of QLogic’s SAN solutions using real-world examples. Upon successful test completion, participants receive a QLogic SANtrack certification.
