SwapDrive Partners with Meganet On Online Data Backup

SwapDrive, a provider of Web-based data storage, today announced that the company has partnered with Meganet Communications as a reseller of SwapDrive’s Backup service.

Under the agreement, Meganet, a Massachusetts based Network Service Provider of Internet connectivity and private WAN services to corporations, wholesale markets, and ISPs throughout New England, is to resell SwapDrive’s online data backup and recovery services to their clients. SwapDrive Backup will be available as part of Meganet’s Commercial Network Services.

“Teaming with Meganet is a great opportunity to extend our solutions to their vast customer base in the New England area,” said David Steinberg, CEO of SwapDrive. “We’re pleased to partner with a Network Service Provider eager to become a technology innovator by providing data backup services to their customers.”

SwapDrive said SwapDrive Backup features a Wizard-based installation, secure automatic backups, fast data recovery, and ubiquitous service access via the Internet
