Aspective Selects CrossWorlds Software for Customer E-Business Initiatives

Integration platform provider CrossWorlds Software Inc. (Nasdaq:CWLD) announced today a partnership with European eBusiness ASP Aspective to offer Aspective’s customers a comprehensive integration solution as part of its hosted applications services.

Using CrossWorlds, Aspective’s customers will be able to integrate hosted applications with their own core business processes and existing applications. Aspective will provide CrossWorlds’ pre-built connectivity for key applications from such partners as BroadVision and Siebel.

CrossWorlds’ solution is an eBusiness integration platform comprised of: packaged integration modules; business objects to support the most common business processes; pre-built connectivity to leading applications; and a toolset for integrating to custom and legacy systems as well as extending and customizing business processes. CrossWorlds’ solution features a patented integration architecture to support scalability, reliability, security and manageability. CrossWorlds’ Java-based InterChange Server is application-version transparent, so underlying applications can be upgraded, added or removed without affecting cross-application business processes.

Aspective specializes in the delivery of high-end front-office applications, and incorporates in its portfolio the expertise to access these applications from mobile devices. Aspective designs, develops, hosts and runs applications on its clients’ behalf. Aspective takes full responsibility for installing, configuring, running, maintaining and upgrading the equipment and software, while its teams of experts are available to provide training, customization and support services as clients require.

Aspective offers three product ranges: Arise; Aspire; and Assure. Each addresses the distinct needs of enterprises of differing size and complexity through solutions with different levels of capacity and sophistication. Within each product range are application modules for Customer Relationship Management, eCommerce and mobile business.

Aspective was launched in 1999 after acquiring two leading consultancies specializing in Lotus Notes and Siebel. Aspective is supported by Investcorp, Kennet Capital and 3i, and has strategic partnerships with BroadVision, Siebel, Exodus, Lotus, Sun Microsystems, Storage Networks, CrossWorlds and EMC.

CrossWorlds provides a comprehensive e-business platform both for integrating internal operations and extending these operations over the Internet. The company’s customers include industry-leading companies such as Applied Materials, Delphi Automotive, Dow Chemical, DuPont, Nortel Networks, Roche Group, Sony, Siemens AG, US WEST and Whirlpool Corp.
