Full-service provider Frontera Corp. today announced it has been selected to host and manage its suite of e-business software for the Web site of the Dallas Cowboys National Football League franchise.

Frontera will install, host and configure BroadVision’s suite of applications, including the One-to-One Enterprise software and Retail Commerce suite, for the Dallas Cowboys’ online sports entertainment site. Through Frontera’s Internet business solution, the Dallas Cowboys will distribute content, manage their online retail store, establish relationships with fans and provide overall team news, including scores, statistics, community information and updates.

“Frontera will ensure that the Dallas Cowboys’ fans will get the full online experience 24 hours a day, 7 days a week,” said Tim Cahill, CEO of Frontera. “At Frontera, we guarantee availability, reliability and complete Internet business support. By eliminating the Cowboys’ need to install and manage applications in-house, the organization can focus on its core business.”

Frontera was selected by the Dallas Cowboys for its speed-to-market capabilities, enabling the initial site launch to go live in a matter of days. Additionally, Frontera’s reliable, scalable and quick response time offered the Cowboys the opportunity to leverage the advantages of a complete outsourced solution.

“We realize that fan participation has and always will be the core strength of this organization,” said Jerry Jones, Jr., VP of legal affairs/Internet for the Dallas Cowboys. “Frontera’s full service software capabilities will help our football team maintain a strong franchise by promoting greater fan interaction.”

Frontera, formerly Homepage.com, handles the entire application lifecycle including design, development, implementation, hosting and management. Frontera’s applications are customized to fit specific industry needs and integrate with back-office applications. Customers include Pioneer Electronics, the Dallas Cowboys and Conseco. Frontera is headquartered in Los Angeles, Calif.
