Totality Integrates Support for Oracle9i

Totality Corp., a San Francisco, CA-based provider of Application and Infrastructure Management (AIM) services for e-businesses, today announced its commitment to leveraging Oracle9i Application Server (Oracle9iAS) as part of its membership in the Service Provider partner initiative of the Oracle Partner Program (OPP).

Totality believes that leveragin the platform provided by Oracle9iAS, it will provide fast, scaleable and reliable e-business applications and Web sites, to help reduce operational costs for customers in both parties. The announcement includes Totality in a growing community that delivers solutions or services based on Oracle9iAS.

Michael Carrier, CTO of Totality says that working with Oracle helps strengthen Totality’s role in the Managed Service Provider (MSP) space: “Our role is to architect, manage and operate large e-business sites. The proven scalability, performance and reliability of Oracle9iAS will help deliver the highest service quality to our mutual customers,” he says

As a member of the Oracle Service Provider initiative, Oracle 9iAS will be a core component supported in Totality’s site blueprints and 24-hour operations center. Totality’s site development service, BuildWare, will adeployment of Web sites built on Oracle 9iAS. Totality’s operational environment, ManageWare, will integrate capacity planning tools, management and monitoring tools and operational processes customized for customers deployed on Oracle9iAS.

Thomas Kurian, vice president for Oracle9i Development at Oracle Corp believes the combination of Oracle’s application server platform and Totality’s 24×7 site management and operations services makes a strong e-business proposition for potential clients: “A well-executed development and operations strategy is key to a company’s e-business success,” he says.

The OPP is a global business network of more than 12,000 companies who deliver e-business solutions based on Oracle software. The program provides partners with access to Oracle’s products, education, technical services, marketing and sales support.
