Forman Interactive Corp. this week announced the release of Internet Creator E-Commerce Edition, the latest version of its popular e-commerce Web authoring tool.

During the introductory period, Internet Creator E-Commerce Edition is available for download for free.

The product features new media technology, including transaction processing, Shopping Cart technology, Java, Interactive Forms, and WYSIWYG editing. The tool provides small businesses with an inexpensive and easy to use solution for developing online storefronts and launching them on the Web.

Customers can also purchase the product on CD-ROM with a user manual for a reduced price of $29 during the introductory period. It also ships with sample e-commerce sites that were created using Internet Creator E-Commerce Edition. The example sites provide templates and examples for developers to speed them along in the production of their own e-commerce site.

Internet Creator E-Commerce Edition enables merchants to develop transactional items–using a structured format–to offer products, prices and services. The tool can import information from most of the popular database/accounting formats, including Microsoft Access, Peachtree, Quickbooks, or other flat database files.
