Macromedia Inc. Wednesday released Director 8 Shockwave Studio, a solution for creating magnetic Internet destinations and powerful multimedia.
Director 8 simplifies the creation and delivery of Shockwave content. Macromedia also announced the Fireworks Import Xtra, which integrates Macromedia Fireworks graphics into the Director development environment.

provides Web developers with a solution for creating Web communities.
Shockwave Player displays this immersive and interactive content on the Web.
The Shockwave Player download, which includes the Macromedia Flash Player,

Director and have the behaviors automatically converted to Director
Behaviors. The Fireworks Import Xtra for Director also lets developers import
Fireworks objects directly to the score maintaining registration and
behaviors in Director saving hours of production time.
