NetObjects, Inc. announced NetObjects Fusion 4.0, the latest version of its Web site-building software, which is being positioned for creating business sites, including dynamically generated data and e-commerce.

In addition, Fusion has been completely redesigned to use a Java-based
component architecture and includes connectors to products such as Allaire
ColdFusion and iCat Commerce Online. Fusion 4.0 will let users convert
Microsoft Office documents into
HTML format, and supports Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and layers. Perhaps
best of all, NetObjects Fusion 4.0 will include Allaire Homesite 4.0,
NetStudio 1.0.1 and IBM’s HotMedia toolkit.

NetObjects Fusion will be released in January, with upgrades available to
current customers.
