Sausage Software this week introduced its HotDog Professional 5 Webmaster Suite, a major upgrade to its popular Web authoring tool.

HotDog Professional 5 now includes mBed Interactor from mBED Software, Tetranet’s Linkbot, and Jasc Software’s Paint Shop Pro, making the product a full-featured solution for Web developers.

This latest offering from Sausage Software is targeted at professional Webmasters and developers, and shows major enhancements in power, flexibility and functionality. HotDog Professional 5 utilizes a revamped shell, includes more powerful tools, and now features image editing, interactive multimedia facilities and Web site management features along with its standard page editing features.

The editing features include tag error highlighting, live document rendering, collapsible text, and wizards to aid the developer through obscure or otherwise exhaustive or repetitive tasks.

The Webmaster Suite now includes support for a team development
environment, complete with file locking and task management features. The
new Linkbot utility allows entire sites to be checked for broken links with
the errors corrected across many pages using one action.

HotDog 5 Webmaster Suite is available now and sells for a retail price of $199.95. To download a 30-day trial of the program, or for additional information, visit the Sausage Software Web site.
