BroadVision Inc., a supplier of online business applications, has expanded its intranet services to USAA by this week signing an agreement to develop its USAA’s corporate intranet.

USAA is an insurance and financial services association with worldwide operations serving approximately 3.3 million military personnel and their dependents. The company will use BroadVision’s One-To-One Enterprise solution as part of its intranet redesign.

With BroadVision, USAA will create specific templates within its corporate-wide intranet,
delivering information and services based on personal employee profiles, the company said.

“With the new BroadVision-based system, all information will be broken out of traditional Web sites, delivered in a contextual and community-sensitive manner to the right user at the right time with only minimal searching and navigating to access information,” said Leena Klint-Looney,
director of intranet management at USAA.
