Powerize.com Updates Intranet Server

Jan 20, 1999

Business intelligence firm powerize.com this week debuted version
1.5 of its Powerize Server intranet utility.

The server is designed to provide an organization with an intranet-based
portal. It can be used in conjunction with a company’s intranet or the
Internet, as well as databases and reference Web sites.

The server works to integrate and analyze query results from multiple
sources, summarize and present them to users in a personalized fashion.
Customized servers are available for the aerospace & defense, energy,
pharmaceutical and telecommunications industries.

“With the release 1.5, we have taken award-winning technology and made it
even better,” said Edwin R. Addison, powerize.com founder, chairman and
chief executive officer.

“The system’s power and ease-of-use, coupled with improved customization
features make Powerize Server 1.5 by far the leading business intelligence
and corporate portal tool available today.”

Powerize Server 1.5 is available now. Pricing begins at
$250 per seat, with volume discounts available.
