IBM Corp. Monday
announced it will bundle its eNetwork Firewall with Worldtalk Corp.’s e-mail firewall,
WorldSecure Server.

The IBM eNetwork Firewall’s features including S/MIME encryption
and digital signature, anti-virus scanning, Internet access control, SPAM
prevention and control filtering.

IBM will also become a reseller of WorldSecure Server.

In addition to being used in corporate America, WorldSecure is also used by
the Securities and Exchange Commission to ensure no e-mail is sent that
violates agency rules and regulations.

IBM eNetwork Firewall customers can download an evaluation copy of
WorldSecure Server from IBM’s
Web page.

“E-mail security is high on the list of information security requirements,”
said Gerry Young,

a primary business
communication tool. They are concerned about liabilities and risks
associated with the lack of e-mail
security. WorldSecure’s comprehensive e-mail security solution offers a
unique way to protect e-mail
systems and significantly adds to the benefits of the IBM eNetwork Firewall
Solution Pack.”

“Organizations no longer settle for point security solutions,” said Simon
Khalaf, vice president of
marketing at Worldtalk Corporation. “Our customers are looking for
comprehensive solutions that
bring together firewalls with e-mail and content security solutions. This
is what IBM’s solution pack
provides.”
