CareerMosaic
announced Monday it will team up with Time Inc.’s Fortune.com to launch the Fortune
CareerMosaic Employment Connection, providing employment leads aimed
for mid- and upper-level managers.
The site will integrate Fortune editorial content such as the “100 Best
Companies to Work For” and “Most Admired Global Companies” lists as well as
the “Ask Annie” career column, with CareerMosaic’s JOBS
database that contains thousands of job listings and resume postings.
In addition, Fortune will also provide all editorial
content for CareerMosaic’s “Career Resource Center.” This feature will be
accessible through CareerMosaic and Fortune.com.
CareerMosaic reports 3.9 million monthly visitors, and Fortune.com 3
million site users. The CareerMosaic Index, which is one of the most
popular job searches on the Web, said job seekers are looking for
managerial positions more than any other category. Fortune claims 97
percent of its subscribers consider themselves mid- to upper-level managers
and professionals.
“The Fortune CareerMosaic Employment Connection is a perfect marriage
between the leading job site on
the Web and the leading online destination for mid- and upper-level
managers,” said Bernard S. Hodes,
president, CareerMosaic. “The strength of the two sites creates the best
online employment resource for
these job seekers and the employers who are trying to reach them.”
“Today’s job seekers, especially busy mid-level professionals, are less and
less interested in hours of
online surfing,” said Brett Zickerman, Time Inc. New Media vice president
for business and finance.
“They want effective and fast access to definitive information and resources.
With Fortune CareerMosaic Employment Connection, job-seekers will not only
get thousands of unique listings but also the critical and trusted
knowledge and advice to help them make smart choices.”
