Employment site CareerMosaic and Career Central Corp., an electronic recruitment and career services company, formed an alliance that will provide CareerMosaic users direct access to Career Central’s premium online recruiting service.
Career Central CM is a co-branded service and is available immediately on CareerMosaic by clicking on the ResumeCM search engine, the companies stated, adding that within five business days, Career Central CM provides recruiting clients with at least 10 interested candidates who match the specifications given by the company, priced to undercut executive recruiters.
The agreement offers users of CareerMosaic the ability to register with Career Central while also taking advantage of the job ads, resume database and career management advice currently available at the CareerMosaic Web site. Financial arrangements were not disclosed.
“Career Central provides an option for CareerMosaic users who require a premium recruiting service in addition to CareerMosaic’s current product offering,” said Bruce Skillings, executive vice president of CareerMosaic.

The alliance follows the July 1 national launch of Career Central for Developers, the company’s new service which links software development professionals with targeted employment opportunities. The service joins the company’s flagship offering, Career Central for MBAs (formerly MBA Central), which registered 40,000 members and made hundreds of job matches to date.
Searches are available to recruiting companies for $2,995, guaranteeing at least 10 candidates who match the specifications provided by the company for MBA searches. Career Central clients include @Home, Amazon.com, Booz-Allen,
E*Trade, Home Depot, and Starbucks Coffee, among others.
CareerMosaic offers more than 70,000 job ads from tens of thousands of employers around the world; online job fairs; more than 60,000 resumes to search; free resume-posting; tips on job-hunting and resume-writing; research tools; and a special feature for college students, with links to employers and other resources for those just entering the job market.
