[May 18] Multimedia infotainment company terraplanet has signed an online
marketing agreement with the Commonwealth Bank to reach Australia’s
youth.

The deal aims to create a range on online solutions for Commonwealth
Bank products and services which are specifically aimed at the youth
market.

Under the deal, terraplanet will create three online brochures, the
Smart pack, Student pack and Grad pack, which will allow banking
information to be displayed online in an interactive and simple format.

The arrangment also covers a 12-month sponsorship of terraplanet’s youth
portal Juice, to cross-promote the two
companies on and offline through a variety of sponsored competitions and
branding of the bank on the Juice site.

Terraplanet said the deal would act as an avenue for the company to
broaden its reach into the online community of the future.

A network of online portals are planned for launch over the next two
years using a portion of the funds generated in terraplanet’s recent float
on the Australian Stock Exchange.
