Cyberplex, Psion Form Strategic Partnership

[Toronto, CANADA] Cyberplex has
announced a strategic partnership with
Psion Inc., a provider of mobile
network products, specifically marketing handheld computing products
for the consumer, enterprise, and industrial markets.

The partnership grew out of Cyberplex’s work with Psion on their Web
site. Psion engaged Cyberplex to redevelop its e-commerce sales
channel with a focus on increasing sales.

Through an in-depth analysis of Psion’s existing information
architecture and current sales channels, Cyberplex worked with Psion
to evaluate channel partners and develop a customer destination with
an intuitive, user-friendly, easy purchasing experience.

“Cyberplex’s focus on usability and information architecture has
resulted in an improved customer experience and streamlined
purchasing process for our online customers,” said George Grey, Psion
chief executive officer.

As the handheld and wireless industry begins to shift towards
corporate users and applications, Cyberplex has begun discussions
with its existing partners and Psion to pursue further business
opportunities.

“The continued relationship with Psion will provide CX with close
access to the Symbian (EPOC) operating system and the next generation
of wireless information devices,” said Chris DeGrace, director of
client services at Cyberplex.

Psion is a wholly owned subsidiary of Psion PLC. Psion PLC designs,
develops, manufactures and markets handheld computing products for
consumer, enterprise and industrial markets.

Psion PLC is also a world leader in mobile network product markets.
With an ongoing commitment to Java on EPOC for a range of mobile
enterprise computers, Psion continues to broaden its product base to
meet companies’ changing needs in both current and new market sectors
including financial services, field sales, and healthcare.
