Deep Canyon Closes Doors

Hewlett-Packard Company today announced that DeepCanyon, a Seattle-based, wholly owned subsidiary, will discontinue operations as of Oct. 5, 2000.

DeepCanyon, and its 35 employees, was a provider of Internet-based tools, services and research resources for marketing professionals.

According to company officials, the closure comes as a result of a lack of second-round financing.

The company will be available for the customers through October 15th, with services for their customers and access to their online library. According to Kerry Wilson, Account Executive at KMC group, who represents deep canyon, keeping this section open, will allow customers to download remaining files and make related purchases.

DeepCanyon was spun out of HP in December 1999.
