Fidelity Reaches Out

[Toronto, ONTARIO] In an effort to expand its online empire, Fidelity Investments Canada has rendered
its wireless Web account service accessible to financial advisors and their clients across the nation.

Initially available in Central Canada only, Fidelity’s wireless Web information services are now available
across the county to customers of national wireless provider TELUS Mobility (including its Mike and
Clearnet PCS clients).

Since its launch in September for Bell Mobility subscribers, Fidelity’s wireless service had made
www.fidelity.ca and its real-time information and services available to advisors and their clients in both
French and English. These services include individual account information, fund prices, fund performance
data, corporate information and Canadian newswire coverage.

There is no charge for Fidelity’s wireless access service other than service plan or airtime charges by a
user’s wireless service provider. And online security is ensured through the use of 128-bit encryption for all
communication and account transactions.

Fidelity Investments is Canada’s fourth largest mutual fund company and manages more than CDN $32-billion in assets.
