French classified ads paper and Web site La Centrale, announced that it has
acquired epublik S.A., a leading French auction site. Trader.com will integrate epublik’s site into the La Centrale

SAO PAULO, Brazil, June 7–IFX do Brasil, a wholly-owned
Brazilian subsidiary of the IFX Corporation – a
leading Latin American Internet access provider – has acquired Mr. Help
Informatica, a Web hosting company, and Ludix Internet, an ISP
focused on corporate services. Both acquisitions position IFX as one of Brazil’s leading ISPs for
corporate clients. Mr. Help was founded
in 1994 and today is one of Brazil’s three largest Web hosting companies,
while Ludix Internet is one of the strongest corporate ISPs in Brazil’s
Santa Catarina State.

OAK RIDGE, Tenn., June 7–Internet Pictures , a provider of technology that allows people to take three
dimensional online real estate tours, said it would buy TBI Imaging
and part of Opticom, privately held companies that provide flat
pictures for the real estate market, for $10 million in stock. Under terms
of the agreement, iPIX will acquire all
of TBI imaging and that portion of Opticom that serves the flat imaging
needs of the real estate market.

E-Commerce Transactions Company, announced that it has acquired Softport
Systems, a privately held systems integration firm based in New York,
NY. Softport specializes in
the development of mission-critical business systems that utilize

Internet, announced that it has signed a letter of intent to acquire
Eight Cylinder Studios of San Francisco. Eight Cylinders has developed the
Web’s premier broadband-specific technology platform, delivering
high-quality 3D sound, 3D animation, and 3D interactive content to the
broadband market, and will make On2.com’s
range of solutions more attractive to content-rich companies who want to
