    DARMSTADT, Germany, Nov. 2–Software AG, a leading European
    system software provider offering cutting edge technology for data
    management and e-business, and SAGA Systems
    announced that Software AG will
    acquire all outstanding common stock in SAGA Systems for $11.50 per SAGA
    Systems share in cash, for a total transaction value of approximately $360
    million. With the acquisition of SAGA, Software AG will be able to expand
    significantly into the North America, South America, Japan, and Israel
    markets for B2B e-commerce and XML technologies. Software AG is listed on
    the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

    Internet Health Network and provider of Internet-enabled application
    services for the healthcare industry, announced the acquisition of the
    assets of drDrew.com, an online lifestyle community for 14- to
    24-year-olds named for founder Dr. Drew Pinsky. The acquisition boosts the
    drkoop.com registered user base to more than two million. drkoop.com acquired all drDrew.com assets from Sherwood Partners,
    a corporate restructuring and business advisory firm, for 1.58 million

    solutions, announced the acquisition of Click Agents.com, another
    leading provider of performance-based online advertising solutions. The
    merger of the two organizations considerably extends ValueClick’s dominance in the
    pay-for-results advertising space, the fastest growing segment of the
    online advertising industry. As part of the deal, Click Agents will receive 5.3 million

    of the assets and business of Heritage West Securities located in
    Phoenix, Arizona. Heritage West Securities is an NASD-licensed
    broker/dealer in approximately 38 states and maintains one office in
    Phoenix. Via the Heritage acquisition, GoPublicNow.com clients will benefit
    from a broad range of capabilities provided by Heritage such as private
    placements, secondary offerings, retirement plans, and mutual funds, while
    existing Heritage clients will have access to participate in investment
    opportunities with GoPublicNow.com, involving suitable clients that are
    pre-IPO candidates as well as existing public companies. Terms of the

    NEW YORK, Nov. 2–Blink.com, a provider of portable bookmark
    management, announced the acquisition of CoolSync Bookmarks, a
    California-based bookmark management Web site. The acquisition will enable
    Blink members to benefit from Coolsync’s enhanced “bookmark syncing”
    technology, which enables users to sync their browser bookmarks to their
    Blink account with one click. The transaction was a cash deal, though the
    exact details of the financial terms have not been disclosed.
