[London, ENGLAND] European managed application host Integra and
personalization software supplier Net Perceptions have formed
a strategic alliance in Europe, the two companies announced
Wednesday.
Under the terms of the agreement, Integra will operate and
distribute Net Perceptions’ real-time personalization and
data analysis software throughout the continent.
Andy McLeod, chief executive of Integra, said that his company
operates more than 1,200 Web sites and provides expertise to
Pitney Bowes, ParisBourse, Scandinavia Online and other
blue-chip companies.
“With our established pan-European presence, it was a natural
progression to offer our clients advantages of real-time
personalization from Net Perceptions,” said McLeod.
The new partners say that the deal is designed to meet
the enormous anticipated growth in e-commerce in Europe.
For the first time, small- and medium-sized companies will
be able to use the traditionally high-end solutions from
Net Perceptions, thanks to Integra’s pan-European managed
Web hosting capabilities.
“Starting a Web site is one thing, realizing its potential
is another,” said Steven Snyder, Net Perceptions’ president
and chief executive.
Snyder added that, as with any business, it means getting
to know your customers. The partnership, he said, will enable
companies in Europe to do exactly that — with software designed
to help retailers understand customers individually, optimize
product assortments, prices and inventories, and offer “the
right product to the right customer at the right price.”
With operations in Denmark, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy,
the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, and the U.K., Integra
is well positioned to introduce Net Perceptions’ solutions
to businesses in Europe. It can be contacted at www.integra-europe.com.
