internet.com Corp., the Internet Industry Portal, Monday launched two new Web sites to keep Netizens up-to-date of the latest news and information. InternetNews.com on Monday launched the news site for Penton Media’s Internet World Fall 2000, which will take place at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York from Oct. 23-27.

Effective immediately, those who wish to get a preview of the show can do so by logging onto the site at https://www.internetnews.com/iwlive/fall00/. Sponsored by RuleSpace (IW Booth #973), the site will bring readers the most comprehensive coverage of the Fall 2000 Internet World show.

And for those can’t attend next week’s show, the InternetNews.com staff will provide readers with up-to-the-minute news and images so that they will feel like they are attending every keynote speech, conference and the exhibition floor.

Separately, internet.com on Monday launched a new bureau to cover the thriving Internet market and community in the greater Phoenix area. The site is available at Phoenix.internet.com and joins other regional sites launched by internet.com.

“While the Internet virtually eliminates geographic boundries for businesses, the need for regional Internet news and resources has only intensified,” said internet.com chairman and CEO Alan M. Meckler. “Phoenix.internet.com marks our ninth regional site and will serve as a gateway to the Southwest’s developing Internet community.”
