Two More Sites Added to Internet.com Network

Corp.
today announced it will add two new Web development resources to its growing Internet.com network of Web sites targeted at Internet professionals.


Mecklermedia, publisher of InternetNews.com, announced the acquisition of Intranet Design Magazine and Scriptsearch. Financial terms were not disclosed.


The purchases mark the company’s nineteenth and twentieth Web site
acquisitions since 1995.


Intranet Design Magazine features articles, news and information resources to aid intranet managers in defining and implementing internal communications initiatives.


Scriptsearch contains links to over 5,000 free scripts written in languages
such as C++, CGI, Java, Unix and Visual Basic.


“Intranet Design Magazine is an outstanding addition for our clients who
want to reach corporate information system purchasers,” said Chris Elwell,
vice president and general manager of Internet.com. “Scriptsearch furthers
our leadership role in providing resources that help Web developers do their jobs more efficiently, joining our Java Boutique and JavascriptSource
Web sites in providing access to programs that can be easily incorporated
into Web sites.”


In mid-morning trading, shares of Mecklermedia (NASDAQ:MECK) were up 1
5/8 to 22 3/8.
