INTIQUA, Vignette Forge APAC-wide Partnership

SINGAPORE — Singapore-headquartered e-solutions provider INTIQUA International is now a Vignette Corporation consulting partner covering markets in ASEAN, India and North Asia.

Under the agreement, INTIQUA will not only market, resell and implement Texas-headquartered Vignette’s entire suite of products, but also provide consultancy and customization services to deliver comprehensive solutions for customers across the Asia Pacific region.

A result of a cross-border merger between Singapore-based e-consulting firm xchange21 International and India-based Web integration company NetAcross OLS in March this year, INTIQUA will, predictably, start providing Vignette products and services in Singapore and Malaysia, followed closely by India where, according to a company spokesperson, there is currently “a strong interactive team doing front-end work.”

The spokesperson added that INTIQUA will only cover the North Asia market after it establishes a direct presence in Hong Kong within the next six to eight months. “The potential in Hong Kong is tremendous,” she said. “By having an office in Hong Kong, we will be able to enter the Greater China market and Taiwan, with Korea and Japan to follow.”

Privately held INTIQUA also intends to establish, by year’s end, a direct presence in Australia – typically an office staffed by professional services, technical and sales teams.

Said Dilip Keshu, INTIQUA’s chief executive officer, “Seamless integration of Web initiatives to disparate sources of information that come from the Internet and legacy systems, together with superior management of this content, make the underpinnings of a successful digital presence.

“Vignette makes this possible with its rich array of products and so we are clearly delighted in this partnership as it will enhance our offering to our clients. We look forward to extending this relationship to the U.S. in the near future.”

INTIQUA has four offices in the U.S. – two in California and one each in New York and Texas. The company intends to extend the Vignette partnership beyond Asia Pacific to the U.S. “hopefully by this year,” the spokesperson said, adding that how quickly it happens will depend on how the budding relationship takes off in Asia.

Said Vincent Ho, Vignette Asia’s managing director for ASEAN, “Partners are an important component of the Vignette economy. INTIQUA joins a community of skilled partners specifically selected to support and grow with Vignette customers to ensure their success. Together, we will help more companies create and maintain advanced Internet businesses that attract, engage, and retain online customers.”
