Lycos, Inc. and iVillage.com extended a previous alliance by signing a new two-year agreement today under which Lycos will incorporate iVillage.com content into two new Web Guides.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
iVillage.com, which bills itself as “The Women’s Network,” will provide
content for Lycos’ new Women’s Web Guide and its updated Home & Family Guide.
The Guides will feature information on parenting, health, fitness, beauty,
finance, food and careers.
“Our users are always asking Lycos to provide updated and
informative content that covers a wide array of issues,” said Jan Horsfall,
vice president of marketing for Lycos. “We’ve expanded our relationship with
iVillage.com to easily provide this content because the company’s
brand is well recognized and respected by millions of women
worldwide.”

iVillage.com. “This exclusive relationship delivers iVillage.com

New York city-based iVillage.com also operates an America Online site, and
says it ranks as the top women’s online network with 66 million page views
per month. The company’s ten content channels include Better Health,
Career, Parent Soup, ParentsPlace, Relationships, Shopping, and Work from
Home.
