Eatery specialists Menus.com and RestaurantRow.com have squelched merger negotiations.

Citing timing and market conditions, both parties report that a merger would
not be in the best interest of either company.

Menus.com offers online information about restaurants, providing daily
updates to thousands of restaurants and menus as well as articles on the
restaurant and the world of food. RestaurantRow.com allows visitors to view
menus and wine lists, make an on-line reservations and order food for
delivery or take-out.

The negotiations ended on a positive note.

“Menus.com is a solid company and we tried very hard to make the merger
work,” said Jim Gurfein, CEO of RestaurantRow.com. “We look forward to
continuing to servicing the company as a customer and look forward to
opportunities with them down the road.”

Gerald Chase, CEO of menus.com said, “Our negotiations with
restaurantrow.com have always been amicable and we wish them the best of
luck with their businesses.”
