The Australian division of international online recruitment site Monster.com has struck an alliance
with Internet cafe chain Global
Gossip
to attract the potential 32,000 travellers entering Australia
each month.

Seeing the inevitable increase in travellers in the lead-up to the
Olympics, Monster.com will provide the Global Gossip site with access to
its recruitment technology and network.

Global Gossip’s facility provides access to email, fax and phones, and
together with Monster.com will now offer a network of jobs and career
guidance.

Monster.com’s Asia Pacific marketing director Julie Cleeland Nicholls
said the partnership bought two important elements together. “The world’s
workplace is becoming more global as the Internet breaks down traditional
barriers,” she said.
