MSNBC.com Inks Deal With P-I

MSNBC.com has announced an agreement to incorporate local news content from the websites of The Seattle Post-Intelligencer, as well as The Boston Herald and The Arizona Republic.

The MSNBC.com affiliate network provides contents and links on MSNBC.com from the Web sites of more than 90 local TV stations and 11 print outlets in the US.

Under the terms of the agreement, MSNBC.com will provide links and drive traffic to localized content from the three new affiliate sites, as well as provide for increased promotion of the local brands on co-branded pages.

According to officials at MSNBC.com, the agreement will give more in-depth localized content to MSNBC.com users and increase the reach and brand of the local provider.
