the leader in open source Internet infrastructure solutions, announced that
it has signed a definitive agreement to purchase privately-held
WireSpeed Communications. Under the terms of the agreement, Red Hat will issue 1,531,232 shares of
common stock in exchange for all of the outstanding securities of
Huntsville, Alabama-based WireSpeed,
which is a leading developer of network and telecommunications components
for embedded systems software.

agreement to acquire Research Triangle Commerce. Research Triangle is a vertically integrated
Electronic Commerce services firm that specializes in solutions involving
XML, EDI, EAI, and provides mission critical EC consulting, outsourced EC
services, and technical resource management. Under the terms of the
agreement, ICC will issue up to $4 million
of cash and shares of common stock having a combined value of $42 million.

semiconductor company Malleable Technologies, whose processors are
