TD Waterhouse Scores Canadian First with eServices

[Toronto, CANADA]- TD Waterhouse Investor Services, the Canadian discount broker and global online financial services provider, announced it has become the first Canadian discount broker to offer online access to brokerage statements and trade confirmations.

This service, called eServices, allows TD Waterhouse’s clients across Canada to view certain account documents online through TD Waterhouse WebBroker, the firm’s Internet-based investing and market information service. The company claims that, the first of its kind in Canada, eServices notifies participating clients via e-mail when their confirmation or statement is available for online viewing.

John See, president and chief executive officer at TD Waterhouse Investor Services (Canada) Inc. said, “Delivering virtually simultaneous online access to these account documents extends our industry leadership in Canada and demonstrates our commitment to leveraging technology to enhance the client experience.”

Clients can view their most recent account statements and trade confirmations any time they’re online. In addition, they can view up to 15 months of account history online – rendering the filing of paper-based statements obsolete. The online documents are identical to the hard copies clients currently receive via mail from TD Waterhouse.

E-mail notification and Internet access allows clients to view trade confirmations and statements online, 24/7. Registered clients will gain access to all archived account documents and will be notified of ongoing trade notification and brokerage statements.

TD Waterhouse Investor Services (Canada) Inc. is a subsidiary of TD Waterhouse Group, Inc., a subsidiary of TD Bank.
