[White Rock, CANADA] travelbyus.com has launched ITA Software’s low-fare search engine on its site, enabling it to offer its 2,700 travel agency members a competitive tool for airfare shopping and booking.

ITA Software’s new airfare pricing and travel planning platform analyzes all airfares and matching flight itineraries for any travel request. A comprehensive summary enables consumers to make the travel choices that are best for them.

Travelbyus.com’s agreement with ITA Software is to license the proprietary airfare search engine. Integrating ITA’s technology with travelbyus.com’s travel products and online booking capabilities has resulted in a comprehensive travel Web site.

The airfare search engine is hosted in ITA’s new Web hosting facility in Waltham, Massachusetts.

travelbyus.com is a bricks and clicks travel company that is integrating selected traditional travel companies into its site. It is also integrating its North American and European tour operations, discount airline ticket consolidators and media programs (including travel television shows) site so to allow the consumer and its travel agency members to research and tailor leisure and travel product to the customers’ needs.

ITA Software, Inc. creates software applications that solve problems in the air travel industry. This new platform for airfare pricing, low fare searching and air travel planning, is licensed to Web sites, airlines, travel agencies and reservation systems.
