    TMP Worldwide , announced its acquisition of
    Scotland’s largest recruitment site, RecruitmentScotland.com, in a
    deal worth $13.1 million. With RecruitmentScotland.com, Monster will consolidate its reach into
    the Scottish labor market, contributing to the company’s global expansion

    services portal of Cendant Corporation , announced
    that it has acquired HomeHunters and Berkeley Connections,
    both specializing in customized search and leasing services for vacant
    rentals. Through the addition of HomeHunters and Berkeley Connection, move.com
    continues its strategy to create a national “clicks and mortar” rental

    announced that it has reached a definitive agreement to purchase
    findplants.com, an online plant catalog and locator service for B2B
    growers and wholesalers. The acquisition of findplants.com, which offers industry
    participants more than 10,000 different types of plants from nearly 140
    growers, will position USHG’s Internet subsidiary, egarden.com, as one of the most
    comprehensive B2B e-commerce Web site’s focused exclusively on all product
    segments of the lawn and garden industry.

    AUSTRALIA, May 18–Online sex toy merchant AdultShop.com will
    buy U.S. erotica retailer Game Link for more than $10 million in cash
    and stock. Game Link has been selling
    adult products over the Internet since 1993. Australian-based AdultShop will pay $3.6 million in cash
    plus 4.5 million shares, and 10 million options, exercisable at $1.75
    each.
