TeleServices International Group (TSIG.com) has partnered with British-based investment company Riseholm Investments to form International Sound Corp. (ISC), a venture that will develop a new UK Internet portal.
The portal will use TSIG.com’s e-commerce software that enables companies to do business on the Internet without incurring excessive start-up costs.
“One of the biggest problems in the United Kingdom is that we so often know where we need to be on the Internet, but are unable to get there,” said John Lawson-Brown, chairman of Riseholm Investments Ltd. and incoming managing director of the new company.
“With the help of TSIG.com, we will be able to deliver solutions specifically targeted towards our country’s needs, especially with regards to the ever growing and changing world of the Internet. What we will deliver is a product that Britain can truly be proud of.”
ISC will introduce TSIG.com’s myMusicCard program to the UK and will market premium and promotional items via BAGDA (British
Advertising Gift Distributors Association) and BPMA (British Promotional Merchandise Association) to a wide UK audience. Using this route, ISC expects to reach over 12 million people within professional and amateur sports organisations, local authorities, leisure centres, and other groups.
“ISC is uniquely positioned to offer Internet users rich and compelling content that caters to a British audience. Leveraging TSIG.com’s eBusiness suite for a complete, fast time-to-market
solution, ISC will play a much needed role in the British user’s online experience,” said John Hwang, a director of both TSIG.com and the newly formed company.
TSIG.com is headquartered in St. Petersburg, Florida.
