Within tech circles, the Obama administration has sparked great excitement among open government advocates. But that early enthusiasm has given way to some disillusionment, as the entrenched barriers within the federal government and perhaps some half-hearted attempts on behalf of the agencies have rendered the administration’s stated ambitions longer on hope than delivery, at least to some critics.
