Redwood City, CA-based Internet Profiles Corp. (I/PRO) said that 54 Web sites signed on during the fourth quarter of 1998 for its Web measurement,
auditing and custom research services–bringing the total of new customers to
152 for the year.
New customers include a variety of corporate marketing, e-commerce, entertainment, news and information sites. A&E Television Networks signed on six of its sites for I/PRO’s NetLine site traffic measurement service.
“A&E Television Networks came to I/PRO because we wanted to get the best
possible proven outsourced traffic measurement for our six sites,” said Todd
Tarpley, A&E’s director of new media. “Our NetLine activity reports will
provide us with the ability to measure against our set goals, as well as
provide direction for site content and marketing. As different media have
converged and new media becomes increasingly important, it is one of A&E’s top
priorities to establish the same quality in our Internet presence as we have
in traditional television–measurement is a key element of that plan.”
I/PRO provides Web traffic verification, analysis, and research. Services
