AdAge.com Will Use Accipiter’s AdManager

Accipiter Inc. said that its AdManager
product has become the advertising management solution of choice for AdAge.com, the Web site for the trade magazine
Advertising Age.


AdManager was chosen by The Ad Age Group to target, deliver, manage, and
report on all advertisements served on AdAge.com. Financial terms were not
disclosed.


“Accipiter provides AdAge.com with a scalable, high performance Internet
advertising management and reporting solution,” said Edward R. Erhardt, vice
president and publisher at The Ad Age Group.


“Having accurate and intelligent information on advertising activity to
help gauge marketing and content effectiveness is a necessity to speed and
evaluate ROI, justify marketing program expenditures and plan future
programs. Content information Web sites that depend on advertising to
generate revenue need solutions such as
AdManager to be accountable to site advertisers.”


“The industry manages enormous amounts of advertising data online at the same
time as key players compete for advertising customers,” said Chris Evans, CEO
of Accipiter. “For a site such as AdAge.com, understanding how visitors react
to and use online offerings is vital.”
