AT&T Wireless Veep Joins Avenue A Media

Avenue A Media in Seattle named former AT&T
Wireless executive Neve Savage as vice president of client results.


Savage assumes overall responsibility for delivering on Avenue A’s service to
and strategic partnerships with clients. His responsibilities include account
management, new business development and membership on Avenue A’s executive
committee.


Most recently, Savage was vice president of marketing for AT&T Wireless
Services. Prior to AT&T Wireless, he held leadership positions at ad agencies
including Ogilvy & Mather, Saatchi & Saatchi and Wells Rich Greene.


“Neve has delivered results to the world’s most demanding advertisers, from
within the world’s finest traditional agencies,” said Mike Galgon, president
of Avenue A. “His understanding of advertising, marketing and client service
will lead Avenue A to a new level of excellence.”


As AT&T Wireless’s vice president of marketing, Savage directed and executed
the company’s transition from McCaw Cellular Communications and built
capabilities in both direct-response marketing and the Internet. Most
recently, he was a key participant in formulating and launching AT&T Digital
One Rate.


Neve served as executive group director and member of the New York operating
board at
Ogilvy & Mather, determining strategy, advertising and direct marketing for
Unilever, SmithKline Beecham and The Seagram Co. Prior to that he served as
chairman of Wells Rich Greene, London.


Avenue A Media offers media planning, buying, serving and reporting services
to online advertisers. Leveraging proprietary technology, Avenue A collects
real-time Custom ROI metrics for its clients’ campaigns, then optimizes to
emphasize the most effective ads and Web sites.
