BPA International and I/PRO (Internet Profiles Corp.), a subsidiary
of Engage, signed a strategic agreement that
will enable BPA to prepare interactive audits using the I/PRO technology
infrastructure.
“Through this alliance with I/PRO we are taking the interactive audit space
to a new level,” said BPA International President and CEO Glenn J. Hansen.
“Customers will be able to draw on the unparalleled audit expertise of BPA
and the market-leading technology and infrastructure of I/PRO.”
Under the terms of the agreement, I/PRO will provide customer set-up, data
transfer, data transformation, data processing of the Web server log files,
database querying and archiving services for customers of the joint
agreement.
BPA will perform the human review and auditing of the customers’
Web site data and will publish the results in the BPA Interactive report.
Financial arrangements were not disclosed.
I/PRO will continue to market its full suite of measurement and auditing
services. BPA and I/PRO will collaborate on sales and marketing efforts and
coordinate support services directed to new and existing customers.
Now in its 60th year, the non-profit BPA International is an auditor of
business publications and a global provider of audited data to the marketing,
media and information industries.
BPA provides verified audience data to
2,874 advertisers, advertising agencies and industry-associated firms in the
United States, Canada, Europe, Asia and South America. In addition to Web
sites, BPA serves 1,875 business publications in 22 countries.
I/PRO analyzes and validates activity for more than 350 Web sites.
